The Women’s Prize Trust, Audible, Curtis Brown Literary Agency and Curtis Brown Creative Writing School are delighted to launch Discoveries 2025, searching for the most talented and original new female writing voices in the UK and Ireland.

If you'd like to enter, please fill in the form below to tell us a bit about yourself and to send us the first 10,000 words of your novel and a synopsis of between 500-1,000 words. Novels do not need to be finished before you enter the competition, but you should be able to summarise in your synopsis the main plot of your work-in-progress. Discoveries welcomes applications from women writers of all ages (18+) and backgrounds across the UK and Ireland. We want to ensure that we reach as many eligible writers as possible for equality purposes and the optional answers that you provide to the survey questions below will be used to improve Discoveries’ outreach efforts.
